From Posto 6 of Copacabana you walk about 6 minutes to Ipanema through Arpoador.
Why rent a flat in Botafogo or Urca
Botafogo is a very lively district, especially during the day, with countless restaurants, cafes, stores, libraries and two large shopping centers (Rio Sul Shopping and Botafogo Praia Shopping). With Uber you can get from here to Copacabana or Ipanema within 10 minutes. By metro, it is much faster to get here to the old town of Rio de Janeiro, Lapa, the port or the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanhã). Botafogo is ideal to explore the city.
Urca is idyllically located. Here is the beautiful marina and also during the day it is quiet and very different from Copacabana or Ipanema.
